Loblaws Grocery Store Self Checkout Project

This commercial electrical project involved upgrading the self checkout systems at five different Loblaws grocery store locations. Our team was subcontracted to support the transition to a more streamlined and user-friendly checkout experience, with electrical work tailored to the needs of each store layout.

The scope of work included running EMT conduit from the electrical rooms to provide dedicated circuits for the new self checkout equipment, as well as modifying existing circuits to accommodate updated freezer placements and revised checkout locations. We also concealed wiring within the TROFF system while running network cabling for the new POS setup, helping maintain a clean and organized finish throughout the installation.

In addition to the field work, this project involved coordination meetings, updated plans, and forward-looking energy considerations to support better long-term electrical planning.
